Second Drawer Gadgets is an Australian Company selling delightful kitchen gadgets that inspire the everyday baker. The Cake Saver is a simple to use, versatile product that creates a frame over your cakes or creations providing a barrier between the clingfilm and your decorated masterpieces.

People&Things were tasked to innovate the chunky, plastic cake cover that protects them in transit and from the elements. Second Drawer Gagdets came to P&T with a prototype she had made herself and was using to solve the problem. By working through our design process we came up with a sleek, stylish and disrupting product that has a strong focus on sustainability not only for the our client but also for her business.
